Underlord vs Disruptor

How this matchup plays

Getting caught by a Glimpse into Kinetic Field is less of a death sentence for Underlord than it is for most heroes. He's naturally durable, and his presence makes it harder for the enemy team to follow up with physical damage thanks to Atrophy Aura. While Disruptor can lock him down, actually killing him inside the Static Storm requires a huge commitment from the rest of his team. If they fail, Underlord is still alive in the middle of the fight, ready to drop Firestorm and Pit of Malice on everyone.

This dynamic forces the Disruptor player to adjust. They learn to ignore Underlord and try to catch his squishier teammates instead, which can be difficult if Underlord is positioned correctly as a frontline wall. Meanwhile, Underlord is free to build his usual aura items and walk at the enemy team, largely unbothered by Disruptor's attempts at control. He's not an ideal target, and he makes it harder to kill the targets around him, giving his team a small but consistent edge in teamfights.
