Underlord vs Faceless Void

How this matchup plays

Farming against an Underlord can be a real headache for Faceless Void. The constant lane push from Firestorm often forces Void under his tower, slowing his item progression. Atrophy Aura also saps his right-click damage, making last-hitting tougher and reducing his threat in early skirmishes. However, Underlord has no reliable way to lock down and kill Void on his own. Time Walk provides a simple escape from Pit of Malice, allowing Void to largely ignore Underlord's pressure and focus on his own farm until he gets his key items and levels.

The game often comes down to the execution of Chronosphere. A good ultimate can catch Underlord and prevent him from disrupting the fight with Pit of Malice or weakening Void's team with his aura. But if Underlord survives the initial lockdown, his abilities can turn the fight completely, making it difficult for Void's allies to follow up. Underlord can also leverage Fiend's Gate to create pressure across the map, forcing Void to choose between defending towers and farming. This creates a constant tension where neither hero can fully dominate the other's game plan.
