Underlord vs Vengeful Spirit

How this matchup plays

Isolating Underlord with Nether Swap is the key goal for Vengeful Spirit, as it pulls him away from his team and his powerful area-denial spells. Wave of Terror helps her team focus him down once he's out of position. Underlord has answers for this, though. A well-timed Pit of Malice can lock down the heroes collapsing on him after the Swap, and his Atrophy Aura significantly cuts their right-click damage, making the burst attempt much less likely to succeed. His natural tankiness means he can often survive the initial gank and turn the fight around.

This dynamic creates a game of cat and mouse. Vengeful Spirit's team plays for pick-offs, trying to catch someone with a Swap before Underlord can react. Underlord, meanwhile, wants to group his team with Fiend's Gate to take objectives, forcing Venge's team to engage into his controlled territory.
