Alchemist vs Dazzle

How this matchup plays

Trying to land a max-duration Unstable Concoction on a key target is complicated when Dazzle is on the other team. His Shallow Grave is a direct answer to Alchemist’s burst damage, often giving the target enough time to escape or for their team to counter-initiate. However, this is where Dazzle's direct threat to Alchemist tends to end. With Chemical Rage active, Alchemist has so much health regeneration that he can shrug off Dazzle's damage over time and reposition for another attempt once Grave has been used.

The mid-game revolves around Alchemist trying to bait out Shallow Grave or simply kill Dazzle first. A well-farmed Alchemist can often survive being focused long enough to get his stun off on a second target. For Dazzle, the goal is to position safely and use his spell to keep his own cores alive through Alchemist's strongest timing. If he can prevent Alchemist from snowballing with early kills, his team gets the breathing room needed to deal with the farmed-up carry later on. This makes fights less about one hero dominating the other and more about which team executes better around that one crucial cooldown.
