Alchemist vs Enchantress

How this matchup plays

Trying to land a full Unstable Concoction on Enchantress can be a mixed bag. She's naturally fast and her heal can help her survive the initial magic burst from Alchemist's spells. On the other hand, Alchemist has to be on top of her to fight, and this melee range completely negates the bonus damage Enchantress gets from Impetus at a distance. Both heroes have tools that disrupt the other's game plan, but neither has a clear way to dominate the interaction directly.

The lane and subsequent fights often come down to item timings and who gets the jump. A farmed Alchemist with an initiation item can find and burst Enchantress before she can react. An Enchantress who anticipates this can build items to survive that initial burst, like a Force Staff, and then kite him until he's forced to retreat. It becomes a game of cat and mouse where the initiator usually has an edge, but the target has obvious ways to escape and reset the fight if played correctly.
