Alchemist vs Faceless Void

How this matchup plays

Trying to kill a farmed Alchemist during Chemical Rage feels impossible. His health regenerates so fast that most damage just doesn't stick. This is where Faceless Void comes in. Chronosphere is one of the few abilities that can completely stop Alchemist in his tracks, pausing his regeneration and movement while your team unloads everything. It bypasses all the tank items he has built and creates a clear window to bring him down. Outside of that ultimate, however, Void struggles to contribute enough damage to threaten a full-strength Alchemist.

The entire game boils down to a race. Alchemist accelerates his farm far beyond almost any other hero and aims to hit an item timing that lets him run over the enemy team. He wants to end the game before Void gets the items he needs to be a threat inside his own Chronosphere. Faceless Void and his team play a more defensive game, trying to slow Alchemist's push and stall for that one perfect ultimate. Success often depends on which carry hits their power spike first and forces the decisive fight.
