How this matchup plays

Trying to burn down an Alchemist with Chemical Rage active is a losing battle for Jakiro. Almost all of Jakiro's spells, from Dual Breath to Macropyre, are damage-over-time effects that Alchemist’s ultimate simply out-heals. He lacks the instant burst damage needed to threaten a kill before Alchemist can press R. Once Rage is active, Alchemist can either ignore the damage completely or use an item to dispel the slows and walk away, rendering Jakiro’s entire offensive toolkit ineffective against him.

This dynamic defines how the game plays out. After a potentially annoying laning phase, Alchemist hits a timing where he can farm faster and fight harder than Jakiro can handle. Alchemist doesn't need to respect Jakiro's area control; he can run through Macropyre, shrug off the slows, and dive straight for the back lines. With no escape mechanism, Jakiro becomes an easy target for Unstable Concoction, getting chain-stunned and killed before his slow-acting spells can contribute much to the fight.
