How this matchup plays

Landing an Unstable Concoction on Pangolier is a real test of timing. He can use Swashbuckle to dodge the projectile entirely, forcing Alchemist to predict his movement. Even if Pangolier gets hit, Shield Crash gives him a buffer to survive the initial burst. The tables turn if Alchemist does land his stun, though. Acid Spray melts armor, and Pangolier tends to have low health, making him an easy target for a full duration stun combo. The fight often hinges entirely on whether that stun lands.

This interaction shapes the entire game. Pangolier's job is to create chaos with Rolling Thunder and disrupt Alchemist's team, preventing him from farming freely.
