Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Alchemist wins the Alchemist vs Shadow Demon matchup: Alchemist beats Shadow Demon in 53.06% of 3,726 ranked matches.
Controlling the map and accelerating farm comes much easier for Alchemist in this matchup. Shadow Demon lacks reliable ways to slow down the gold-farming machine. The main issue is that Shadow Demon's primary save, Disruption, backfires completely against an Unstable Concoction. Using it on an ally Alchemist is targeting only gives Alchemist free time to finish charging his stun, securing a perfect setup for his team. This makes peeling for a carry nearly impossible. Later in the game, the massive health regeneration from Chemical Rage often shrugs off the damage amp from Soul Catcher, and Alchemist can even farm extra gold by quickly clearing any illusions Shadow Demon creates.
