Alchemist vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Picking Tiny into an Alchemist is a bet that you can end the game before he gets his core items, and it's a bet that rarely pays off. Tiny's entire game plan relies on his ability to delete a target with a full magic damage combo. Alchemist, however, can survive this initial burst by activating Chemical Rage for its massive health regeneration. Once he lives through the initial seconds of a gank, the fight flips completely. Acid Spray melts Tiny's armor, and Alchemist can usually turn and kill him with right-clicks, even at early stages of the game.

The matchup forces Tiny into a desperate, high-risk playstyle from the very start. He has a brief window to try and kill Alchemist before level six, but a smart Alchemist player will play cautiously until then. After that, Alchemist can farm almost anywhere on the map with impunity, knowing Chemical Rage is his get-out-of-jail card. This allows him to accelerate his farm with Greevil's Greed without fear. Tiny falls off hard when he can't secure early kills, while Alchemist's power curve only goes up, leading to a mid-game where he's often too farmed and too tanky for Tiny to handle.
