Bloodseeker vs Earthshaker

How this matchup plays

Playing Earthshaker into a Bloodseeker often puts you between a rock and a hard place. Your whole game plan revolves around movement and positioning—blinking in for Echo Slam or finding the perfect angle for a Fissure. Bloodseeker's Rupture directly punishes this, forcing you to either take huge damage to do your job or stand still and be ineffective. A well-timed Bloodrite can also be a major problem, silencing you right as you try to initiate and leaving you exposed.

This means Bloodseeker will often try to open on you with his ultimate to neutralize your threat before a fight even starts. Your counter-play is to either get your combo off before Rupture is cast or to use your spells defensively. A good Fissure can still save a teammate by blocking off a charging Bloodseeker, and the threat of your stuns and ultimate is always respected. This pressure you can apply, even when targeted, is why the matchup isn't completely one-sided.
