Bloodseeker vs Pudge

How this matchup plays

Using Rot to secure last hits or slow an enemy feels risky when facing Bloodseeker. That constant self-damage from Pudge gives his opponent vision and a speed boost from Thirst whenever he gets low. This makes it harder for Pudge to hide or escape. Later in the game, Bloodseeker's toolkit continues to be a problem. Bloodrite is a reliable way to interrupt a channeled Dismember from a safe distance, and Rupture makes it dangerous for the naturally slow Pudge to reposition or even walk away from a fight he started.

This dynamic means Pudge often feels like he's playing with a handicap. Even if he lands a great hook, Bloodseeker has the tools to turn the situation around, either by saving the hooked ally with a silence or punishing Pudge directly. To succeed, Pudge needs to play around his opponent, focusing on ganking other lanes or relying on his teammates to provide stuns before he commits Dismember. Bloodseeker, on the other hand, can play his normal game, knowing he has built-in ways to disrupt Pudge's main contribution to a fight.
