Bloodseeker vs Techies

How this matchup plays

Trying to use Rupture on Techies creates a standoff. Techies is punished for moving, but Bloodseeker is punished for moving into Techies' territory full of Proximity Mines. Bloodseeker can lock him down from a distance, but can't always safely run in to finish the job without taking heavy damage or getting caught in a Stasis Trap. If Techies uses Blast Off, he gives Bloodseeker vision and movement speed from Thirst, but he might use that spell to jump into a heavily mined area where he can turn and fight.

The matchup revolves around who gets the initiation. If Bloodseeker and his team can de-mine an area and catch Techies out of position, Rupture is a death sentence. If Techies can successfully bait an aggressive Bloodseeker into a nest of traps, he can blow him up before he even gets close. It becomes a game of vision and patience. Bloodseeker wants to force a fight in the open, while Techies wants to defend his pre-placed mines. A last-ditch Reactive Tazer can also disrupt Bloodseeker's assault, buying crucial time for an escape or for his team to counter-initiate.
