Bounty Hunter vs Earthshaker

How this matchup plays

Picking Earthshaker into a Bounty Hunter is a bet on your team's awareness and positioning. Earthshaker has all the tools to punish a Bounty Hunter who gets greedy. A well-timed Fissure can block an escape path, and the chain stuns can lock Bounty Hunter down the moment he breaks invisibility to attack a teammate. However, Earthshaker has no native way to find an invisible hero, so he's purely reactive. Bounty Hunter dictates the terms of engagement and can simply choose to play on the other side of the map, avoiding the threat entirely while still creating pressure and tracking targets.

This leads to a cat-and-mouse game across the map. Bounty Hunter has to respect Earthshaker's location at all times, as getting caught means instant death. If he successfully plays around the Shaker, he can secure kills and build a lead for his team. But a single mistake—attacking a support who was baiting near a hidden Earthshaker—can completely backfire, feeding a kill and ruining the gank.
