Bounty Hunter vs Hoodwink

How this matchup plays

Picking one of these heroes against the other often feels like a positional arms race. Hoodwink wants to play from the safety of the treeline to maximize Scurry's value and set up a good Bushwhack. Bounty Hunter complicates this plan significantly. Shadow Walk allows him to sneak into position, and a successful Track means Hoodwink can't use the trees to juke or hide. The constant vision makes it much harder for her to find a safe spot to fight from, leaving her exposed to follow-up from Bounty Hunter's team even if she can run away from him directly.

Across the game, this dynamic forces Hoodwink to play more cautiously. Instead of looking for aggressive solo plays, she has to stay closer to her own team and rely on their vision to spot a roaming Bounty Hunter first. If Bounty Hunter gets the initiative, he can keep track of her movements and deny her the space she needs to be effective. Hoodwink can still fight back with her burst damage and stun if she catches him out of position, but the information provided by Track gives a consistent, if small, advantage in controlling where and when fights happen.
