Bounty Hunter vs Muerta

How this matchup plays

Keeping vision on Muerta is the main problem Bounty Hunter solves for his team. Applying Track makes it incredibly difficult for her to reposition or escape, even with items. While her ultimate, Pierce the Veil, makes her immune to physical damage and negates Bounty Hunter’s own right-click burst, it also causes her to take increased magic damage. Track's persistent vision allows his allies to see this transformation happen and immediately unload their spells, turning her big teamfight moment into a liability.

Across the game, this means Bounty Hunter can enable his team to control Muerta's aggression. Early ganks become much easier to coordinate when she can't slip into the trees. In later fights, his job isn't to kill her himself but to ensure she's always visible for his cores with magic burst. If she can't get a good initiation, she becomes a glowing target that can be kited and nuked. This advantage is only slight, however, because a well-positioned Muerta can still delete Bounty Hunter before he can react, and a team without follow-up magic damage will struggle to capitalize on the vision he provides.
