Bounty Hunter vs Ogre Magi

How this matchup plays

Thinking you can burst Ogre Magi like any other support is often a mistake. Where many heroes would crumble under Bounty Hunter's opening attack from stealth, Ogre's natural tankiness allows him to survive and turn with a Fireblast. That simple point-and-click stun is usually enough to stop the gank completely, allowing his allies to turn the fight around. Bounty Hunter needs a clean kill to get ahead, and Ogre Magi is simply a bad target for that, making him an effective bodyguard against early aggression.

This forces Bounty Hunter to play differently. Instead of trying to kill Ogre, he has to play around him, using Track to scout his position and find a different target. The game becomes about Ogre trying to stay near his vulnerable teammates, while Bounty Hunter tries to find and pick off anyone who wanders too far. It's not a direct counter, but a contest of positioning. Ogre Magi can’t be everywhere at once, and a good Bounty Hunter will exploit that.
