Bounty Hunter vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Seeing an invisible hero on the enemy team makes you think a support like Snapfire is free food, but it rarely plays out that way. Firesnap Cookie is a perfect tool for creating distance the moment Bounty Hunter tries to open on her. If he commits to the fight alone, Snapfire can punish him hard with the slows and damage from her other spells, often forcing him to back off. Bounty Hunter can reliably apply Track to keep tabs on her, but he needs his team to follow up on that vision. He can’t usually burst her down himself before she can reposition or get help.

Throughout the game, this creates a balanced trade of information for control. Bounty Hunter gives his team the vision they need to anticipate and sidestep a big Mortimer Kisses. In exchange, Snapfire is excellent at countering the aggressive plays that a Track kill encourages. When Bounty Hunter’s allies dive a target, she can save them with a well-aimed Cookie or lock down the divers for a counter-kill. Neither hero shuts the other down; they each give their own team the tools to deal with the problems the other presents.
