Bounty Hunter vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Picking one of these heroes into the other creates a clash of game plans. Bounty Hunter wants to create chaos with pickoffs on isolated heroes, but Undying excels at forcing grouped, slow-moving teamfights where he can land multiple Decays. That strength drain makes a naturally fragile hero like Bounty Hunter even easier to kill. Furthermore, a well-placed Tombstone can completely zone Bounty Hunter out of a fight or even reveal him as zombies swarm the area. Bounty Hunter’s main answer is to play patiently, using Track from a safe distance to give his team the vision and gold needed to overcome Undying’s pressure.

The matchup often comes down to which hero can dictate the tempo. During the laning stage, Bounty Hunter can simply find somewhere else on the map to be, avoiding Undying’s lane dominance entirely. The real conflict starts when Undying’s team starts to group and push towers. If Bounty Hunter’s team is forced into a head-on fight, his impact is minimal. His best strategy is to encourage his team to split the map, using his scouting to find kills far away from the Tombstone. It becomes a game of cat and mouse, where neither hero can reliably shut the other down.
