Bounty Hunter vs Ursa

How this matchup plays

Keeping Ursa's location a secret is the whole game for his team, especially when he's looking for a solo kill on Roshan or a support. Bounty Hunter's Track makes this much harder, providing constant vision and bonus movement speed for his allies to either escape or collapse. An Ursa who gets Tracked before he can use Enrage and Overpower is often forced to back off, as he can't get the jump he needs. This disrupts his core timing of using his ultimate to burst down a key target and snowball the fight. It's not a full stop, but it’s a constant annoyance.

Throughout the game, Ursa is forced to play more cautiously. He needs to secure a Blink Dagger and BKB before he can confidently initiate, as any pickoff attempt can be turned around by the vision from Track. A successful Ursa will try to initiate from fog so quickly that the reaction time is minimal, even with Track applied. Bounty Hunter's team, in response, will play more spread out and use the extra speed to kite Ursa once he commits. The fight often comes down to whether Ursa can kill his target inside his BKB duration before getting swarmed.
