Taking map control from a team with Jakiro becomes much easier when you have a Bristleback. His presence completely neutralizes the dragon's teamfight impact by turning Jakiro's greatest strengths into liabilities. The core of the issue is how Bristleback's passive interacts with damage-over-time. Spells like Dual Breath and Macropyre, which are meant to control areas and wear down enemies, instead rapidly trigger Quill Spray releases. Every attempt Jakiro makes to contribute damage in a fight only makes Bristleback stronger, turning Jakiro’s own spells against his team.

This dynamic forces Jakiro into a terrible position from the mid-game onward. Bristleback can confidently stand in Macropyre to get more quill procs, building stacks that let him run down more important targets. Jakiro’s only hope is to land a perfect Ice Path to help his team create space, but the spell’s delay is often too slow for a fast-moving Bristleback. This usually leaves Jakiro trying to ignore the Bristleback completely, which simply allows the pig to rampage through the back lines without any real threat to slow him down.
