Picking a core like Muerta into Bristleback often hinges on whether your team can protect her. Her physical damage struggles to get through his Bristleback passive, making him tough to burst down. Muerta’s main tool for killing tanks, Pierce the Veil, makes this problem worse. While it lets her attack him from a safe distance, it also makes her take more damage from his magical Quill Sprays. If Bristleback can close the gap while she's in her ultimate, she becomes incredibly fragile and dies much faster than she normally would.
