Bristleback vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down Bristleback with physical damage is Tiny's whole game, and it fails completely here. The `Bristleback` passive is at its best when reducing big, singular hits, which is exactly what a `Tree Grab` empowered Tiny delivers. Every time Tiny lands one of his slow attacks on Bristleback's back, a reactive `Quill Spray` punishes him for it. Tiny’s initial magic burst from `Avalanche` and `Toss` isn't enough to kill Bristleback on its own, and once that's over, he has no good way to finish the job. He’s left hitting a target that gets tougher and more dangerous the more he commits.

A typical fight goes poorly for Tiny as soon as Bristleback survives the opening stun. After the initial lockdown, Bristleback turns and starts running, applying `Nasal Goo` and `Quill Spray` stacks. Tiny has no way to deal with the constant damage and armor reduction in a prolonged engagement. He's too slow to chase and too slow to escape, getting worn down while his own damage becomes less and less effective. Unless Tiny's team can provide significant magic follow-up, Bristleback is free to ignore him and walk straight past to the supports.
