A fast-attacking carry like Kez is punished by Return for doing exactly what he wants to do. Centaur Warrunner's Hoof Stomp also provides an AoE stun that can't be parried, setting Kez up to be burst down before a duel even begins. On the other hand, Kez has the mobility and damage to hunt Centaur if his spells are on cooldown. If Kez can catch Centaur without his team or his stun, the tables can turn, but it requires careful positioning and timing.

The game often revolves around Centaur's Blink Dagger. He will try to use Stampede to get in and lock Kez down for his team.
