Seeing these two in the same lane often looks like a stalemate, but the real issues for Centaur Warrunner start after laning. His whole initiation pattern of stunning a target with Hoof Stomp for his team to collapse on is frequently undone by Kraken Shell's dispel. This forces Centaur to either find a different target or accept that his lockdown will be unreliable. In a direct teamfight, Tidehunter's Ravage is also a much more definitive initiation tool. Stampede is great for starting a chase or escaping, but it doesn't offer the same hard control that Ravage provides when both teams are committed to a fight.
