Chaos Knight vs Dragon Knight

How this matchup plays

Pitting Chaos Knight's physical burst against Dragon Knight's raw durability often ends in a draw. Chaos Knight wants to overwhelm a single target with Phantasm illusions, but Dragon Knight's natural armor from Dragon's Blood makes him an incredibly difficult target to bring down. Breathe Fire's damage reduction further weakens the illusion assault. On the other hand, Dragon Knight has very few ways to clear the illusions quickly. He can stun one with Dragon Tail, but he mostly has to tank the damage and hope his team can peel them off, which is tough against Reality Rift.

This standoff means the matchup is rarely decided by a direct confrontation between the two. The game becomes a race to see which hero can execute their own plan better. Dragon Knight will want to group up with his team, use Elder Dragon Form, and push down towers, forcing fights under his terms. Chaos Knight will typically ignore the tanky DK and try to find pickoffs on more fragile heroes in the backline. The hero whose team better enables their strategy usually comes out ahead, making the outcome feel very independent of their direct interaction.
