Chaos Knight vs Faceless Void

How this matchup plays

Trying to secure farm against an aggressive lineup can be difficult, as Faceless Void often discovers. Chaos Knight is built to fight from early on, and he can use Reality Rift to pull Void and all of CK's Phantasm illusions directly on top of him. This forces Void into a fight he isn't prepared for. While Time Walk is a good escape tool that can rewind some of the initial damage, a well-timed Chaos Bolt or follow-up from CK's team can still make for a dangerous situation.

This dynamic pressures Faceless Void to play cautiously, slowing down his item progression. The Chaos Knight player will try to capitalize on this, forcing fights and taking objectives to control the map's tempo. Void's success often depends on his team's ability to create space and on his own smart usage of Chronosphere, either to catch an overextended CK or to guarantee his own escape. If Void can weather the storm and reach his late-game items, his scaling can outpace CK's, but surviving that mid-game pressure is the main challenge.
