Chaos Knight vs Jakiro

How this matchup plays

Getting caught by a Reality Rift is often a death sentence for Jakiro. His slow turn rate and long cast animations make it difficult to respond with an Ice Path before Chaos Knight lands a Chaos Bolt. Once he's stunned, CK's Phantasm illusions can melt him before he gets a chance to use his spells. While Jakiro's area-of-effect abilities are normally good for clearing illusions, he rarely gets the time or space he needs to cast them when Chaos Knight initiates directly on him. The gap close and lockdown are simply too fast.

Later in the game, fights revolve around this same tension. Chaos Knight will always try to find and burst Jakiro before his spells can influence the outcome. The counterplay for Jakiro involves good positioning behind his team and vision control to avoid getting picked off. A Force Staff can be crucial for creating space. If Jakiro can survive the initial jump and lay down Macropyre and his other abilities across the fight, he can make it very difficult for Chaos Knight's illusions to stay alive and do their work. It's a slight edge that depends heavily on who gets the jump.
