How this matchup plays

Controlling the map often comes down to a standoff between their key cooldowns. Chaos Knight threatens to kill any hero he can isolate with Phantasm, forcing the enemy to play defensively and clump up. Mirana directly counters this style of pickoff with Moonlight Shadow, which can save a teammate from anywhere on the map and reset the situation. This dynamic extends to their personal interactions as well. Trying to burst Mirana is tricky; Chaos Knight’s Reality Rift gap-close can be immediately reversed by her Leap. A Chaos Bolt might lock her down, but its random duration can give her just enough time to escape.

This creates a game that often feels very even until one side makes a mistake or secures a major item.
