Chaos Knight vs Vengeful Spirit

How this matchup plays

Picking Vengeful Spirit into Chaos Knight often feels like you're trying to solve a specific problem. Her Wave of Terror reduces armor, which helps your team shred through Phantasm illusions much faster than they normally could. The real prize is Nether Swap; a quick Swap can save a core who's been caught by Reality Rift, completely denying Chaos Knight's signature kill combo. Vengeance Aura also gives her allies the extra damage needed to clear out the illusions before they get out of control. These tools give her team a clear plan for dealing with his late-game teamfight presence.

The problem is that Chaos Knight's own plan is often to find and instantly delete a squishy, high-impact hero. Vengeful Spirit fits that description perfectly. She has a low health pool and no natural escape, making her extremely vulnerable if CK gets the jump on her. A single Chaos Bolt followed by Phantasm is usually enough to kill her before she can even think about swapping a teammate. The matchup really comes down to which hero executes their plan first: does Venge stay safe enough to use her defensive spells, or does Chaos Knight find her and take her off the board?
