Chaos Knight vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Farming an empty lane as Weaver feels incredibly dangerous when a Chaos Knight is missing. This matchup heavily restricts where Weaver can go, slowing his farm and forcing his team to play defensively. The problem is that Chaos Knight’s abilities directly counter Weaver's slipperiness. Reality Rift instantly closes the gap and pulls Weaver in, and a follow-up Chaos Bolt provides more than enough lockdown. This gives Phantasm illusions plenty of time to connect and burst him down before he can even think about using Time Lapse.

As the game progresses, Chaos Knight can actively hunt for Weaver, turning any solo push into a kill. Weaver is forced to play around his team and can't create the map pressure he normally would. His main option is to invest in a defensive item like a Linken's Sphere to block the initial spell, but this comes at the cost of delaying the damage items he needs to be relevant. Chaos Knight gets to dictate the engagements, leaving Weaver to play a desperate game of survival.
