Crystal Maiden vs Enchantress

How this matchup plays

Getting rooted by Frostbite is often a death sentence for Enchantress. Her kit is designed to handle physical damage through Untouchable and Nature's Attendants, letting her shrug off right-clicks while she kites. Against the purely magical damage from Crystal Maiden, however, those defenses do very little. A simple Frostbite holds Enchantress in place, preventing her from using Sproink to escape, and sets her up to be burst down by Crystal Nova and other incoming damage. Her low base health pool makes her an ideal target for CM's spell-heavy arsenal.

This advantage for Crystal Maiden holds throughout the game. During the lane, she can create constant kill pressure on Enchantress. Later, in teamfights, Enchantress wants to be a durable front-liner who is difficult to focus, but CM can single-handedly disable that plan. Enchantress is forced to play from the shadows and itemize defensively with things like a Glimmer Cape or Pipe of Insight to survive the initial magical burst, while Crystal Maiden simply has to land her spells to secure a key kill.
