Crystal Maiden vs Leshrac

How this matchup plays

Trying to run at the enemy team with Diabolic Edict and Pulse Nova is Leshrac’s whole game plan, and Crystal Maiden’s kit directly interferes with it. A single Frostbite roots him in place, preventing him from chasing or running people down. On top of that, Crystal Nova’s slow makes it even harder for him to stick to targets. When Crystal Maiden uses Freezing Field, Leshrac is forced to either leave the area he wants to control or take massive damage. His primary disable, Split Earth, is a delayed stun, meaning a prepared CM can often cancel her channel and move before it lands.

This interaction makes early fights and ganks difficult for Leshrac. He can’t be the aggressive front-liner he wants to be when Crystal Maiden is nearby. His priority becomes farming an item like a Black King Bar or Eul's Scepter to ignore her control spells. Until then, he has to respect her position. Of course, Crystal Maiden is incredibly fragile, and a Leshrac who gets the jump on her will delete her instantly. The matchup comes down to which of them can catch the other out of position first, but CM's tools give her a natural edge in controlling the engagement.
