Dark Seer vs Lina

How this matchup plays

Laning against Dark Seer often means dealing with a constantly pushed wave from Ion Shell. For Lina, this isn't a huge problem; she can clear the entire wave from a safe distance with a single Dragon Slave, keeping the lane relatively stable. Her real challenge is securing a kill. Surge provides an immediate speed boost that lets Dark Seer or an ally easily sidestep Light Strike Array's delay. This makes it very difficult for Lina to land her stun and follow up with her burst damage, neutralizing her primary ganking pattern.

Later in the game, the dynamic becomes about teamfight positioning. Dark Seer's goal is to find a multi-hero Vacuum that pulls Lina out of the back lines and into the chaos of his Wall of Replica. Lina, on the other hand, wants to stay on the periphery, looking for an opening to delete a priority target with Laguna Blade before Dark Seer can execute his combo. Success for either hero hinges on catching the other out of position. The one who dictates the engagement point and forces the other to react on their terms will usually come out ahead.
