Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Nyx Assassin wins the Dark Seer vs Nyx Assassin matchup: Nyx Assassin beats Dark Seer in 54.72% of 15,207 ranked matches.
It feels like putting Ion Shell on a creep should zone Nyx Assassin out, but it often does the opposite. A good Nyx will simply walk into the damage and use Spiked Carapace, stunning Dark Seer from surprisingly far away. This makes laning and jungling a constant risk. The threat extends into teamfights, where a Carapace can interrupt a big Vacuum combo and turn the initiation back on Dark Seer's team. While Surge provides a decent escape and a good Wall of Replica can still be effective, having your primary damage spell turned against you gives Nyx Assassin a consistent edge at all stages of the game.
