Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Dark Seer wins the Dark Seer vs Viper matchup: Dark Seer beats Viper in 52.86% of 18,265 ranked matches.
Running Viper into the lane expecting an easy time often backfires against Dark Seer. A typical lane dominator needs a static creep wave to bully his opponent, but Dark Seer's Ion Shell constantly pushes the lane, forcing Viper to farm under his own tower. This lets Dark Seer get his gold and experience safely. Later, Surge provides a valuable escape from Viper's slows for himself or an ally caught by Viper Strike. The advantage isn't overwhelming, as a well-placed Nethertoxin can still shut down Dark Seer if he gets caught out of position. It's less about Dark Seer killing Viper and more about him negating the early pressure Viper needs to succeed.
