How this matchup plays

Trying to lock down Death Prophet with Cursed Crown or Bramble Maze can be effective, but it's a two-way street. A quick Silence from Death Prophet shuts down Dark Willow's entire spell rotation before it begins, leaving her helpless. Later in the game, Exorcism often forces Willow into an early Shadow Realm for survival, but the ghosts will still be there when she reappears. It's a constant trade of key cooldowns where neither hero gains a lasting advantage. If Death Prophet can't get her silence off first, she risks getting rooted and focused down. If Dark Willow gets silenced, she offers little resistance, creating a balanced, reactive fight where the first mistake is often the only one that matters.
