Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Dark Willow wins the Dark Willow vs Faceless Void matchup: Dark Willow beats Faceless Void in 50.17% of 24,174 ranked matches.
Thinking Shadow Realm will get you out of a Chronosphere is a common mistake. While it makes Dark Willow untargetable, it doesn't make her immune to the freeze. Faceless Void can still lock her in place, preventing her from moving or using other spells. Once she’s stuck, his team can either hit the area with stuns and damage or simply wait for Shadow Realm to end. Her low health pool means she dies quickly once exposed. This core interaction gives Void a reliable way to remove a key enemy support or core from the fight.
Because of this, the matchup becomes a game of positioning. Dark Willow needs to play from the edges of the fight, using Bramble Maze and Cursed Crown to disrupt Faceless Void before he can initiate. If she gets caught, her team loses a lot of control and damage. For his part, Void is often actively hunting for her, since catching her is one of the easiest ways to start a fight with an advantage. It’s a tense dynamic where a single mistake in positioning from Willow can be fatal, but if she plays it right, she can still be effective.
