Dark Willow vs Nature's Prophet

How this matchup plays

Trying to create pressure with Treants often ends up feeding gold to Dark Willow. Her area-of-effect spells clear his summons quickly, and Bramble Maze is especially difficult for Nature's Prophet to play against. His own Treants can trigger the roots, locking him in place for a Cursed Crown or the full duration of Bedlam. Prophet is a fragile hero with no innate escape from this kind of magic damage, and Shadow Realm lets Willow get her full combo off without fear of retaliation. He can’t right-click her and she can easily dodge a reactive Sprout.

This dynamic gives Dark Willow's team significant map control. Prophet’s attempts to split-push and draw rotations become incredibly risky, as she can show up and kill him before his own team can respond. To survive, Nature's Prophet is forced into buying defensive items like a Black King Bar or Force Staff earlier than he'd want, delaying his own impact. Meanwhile, Willow can confidently play around the map, knowing one of the enemy's key strategies is heavily neutered by her basic abilities.
