Dark Willow vs Necrophos

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst Necrophos down often leaves Dark Willow out of position and low on resources. His constant area healing and damage from Death Pulse makes it very difficult for her to find a good window to attack. Even if Dark Willow lands a Cursed Crown, Necrophos can often sustain through the setup and then use Ghost Shroud, completely negating her Bedlam's physical damage. Once she has committed her spells and failed to get the kill, she has very little left to defend herself.

This lets Necrophos play aggressively in teamfights, knowing Dark Willow can't threaten him alone. He can walk at her team, forcing her to use her control on him ineffectively. Dark Willow's best approach is to play from the back, using her root to set up kills for teammates who have the right kind of damage, or ignoring him to focus on other targets. She has to avoid a direct confrontation, while he actively seeks it, looking to finish anyone with Reaper's Scythe.
