Choosing Dark Willow into a Silencer requires you to think carefully about your spell usage. Willow's power lies in chaining her abilities together, but Silencer's kit is designed to punish exactly that. Casting any spell while Last Word is active will trigger its silence, which can easily interrupt her combos. Her desire to use low-cooldown spells also plays into Arcane Curse, extending its duration and making trades less favorable. This forces a more reactive and cautious playstyle from Dark Willow, as she has to constantly be aware of his debuffs before committing to a fight.

Throughout the game, this dynamic means Dark Willow often has to cede initiative. She might use Shadow Realm defensively to wait out a debuff rather than for aggression, creating space for Silencer to reposition. His Global Silence is a constant threat that can neutralize her big teamfight impact from Bedlam or Terrorize. However, Willow is far from useless here. A well-placed Cursed Crown or Bramble Maze can still lock Silencer down for her team to kill him first.
