Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Dawnbreaker wins the Dawnbreaker vs Kez matchup: Dawnbreaker beats Kez in 55.37% of 17,476 ranked matches.
Facing Dawnbreaker as Kez is a frustrating experience. His kit is built for winning a duel, using stance changes and parries against a single enemy. Dawnbreaker doesn't play that game. Most of her damage comes from wide, area-of-effect magic that can't be parried and hits the whole front line at once. Trying to focus her down is also a bad plan; she's incredibly durable and her passive healing makes it tough for Kez to secure a kill before her team can react.
This problem starts early. Kez wants to find pickoffs to get ahead, but Dawnbreaker's Solar Guardian means she can join any fight from anywhere, turning a good situation for him into a disaster. During teamfights, Kez looks for a path to the enemy supports, but he often finds Dawnbreaker blocking the way, stunning and slowing everyone. He’s forced to either fight through her, which he usually loses, or wait for a perfect opening that rarely comes before his own team has been dealt with.
