Picking one of these heroes into the other creates an interesting problem, as they often work quite well together on the same team. The core of the head-to-head matchup is about burst versus survival. Outworld Destroyer relies on deleting a single target with his pure damage, but Dawnbreaker is naturally difficult to bring down quickly. Her high health pool and sustain from Luminosity often let her live through the initial assault from OD. This buys her enough time to turn with Starbreaker. If she can close the distance with Celestial Hammer, Outworld Destroyer has few ways to escape the stun and follow-up damage, since he lacks mobility.

Across the game, this means Outworld Destroyer has to play cautiously. Early on, he can harass in lane, but Dawnbreaker can usually recover. The real pressure comes in the mid game.
