Controlling the map feels harder for Primal Beast because his signature ganks are so consistently challenged. He wants to charge a lane and secure a kill with Pulverize, but Dawnbreaker can always respond from anywhere with Solar Guardian. That global presence means a simple pick-off attempt can instantly become a losing fight for Primal's team. In a direct brawl, Dawnbreaker’s own healing and the stun from Starbreaker make her resilient against his sustained damage from Trample and Uproar, buying crucial time for her allies to reposition or counter-attack.

This dynamic forces the Primal Beast player to be hesitant. He can’t set the tempo with aggressive ganks as freely when Dawnbreaker is on the enemy team. He either has to wait for her to show elsewhere on the map or commit more heroes to a gank, which slows his team's farm and objective timing. To succeed, Primal Beast needs to find ways to burst a target before Solar Guardian fully lands or bait the ultimate on a less critical play. Dawnbreaker's team gets to play a bit more spread out, knowing help can arrive from the sky.
