Getting jumped as Puck is always dangerous, but against Dawnbreaker it feels like a guaranteed trip back to the fountain. The global threat of Solar Guardian means any disable on Puck, anywhere on the map, can be instantly followed up. Even if Puck dodges the initial impact, Dawnbreaker is now right there, durable enough to shrug off the magical burst and ready to connect her Starbreaker combo. Phase Shift provides a brief safety window, but it’s often not long enough for help to arrive or for Puck's own spells to come back online.

This pressure starts the moment Dawnbreaker hits level six and defines the mid-game. Puck is forced to play far more defensively, unable to take aggressive positions to find pickoffs or control teamfights. A Puck that gets ahead might try to build items to survive the initial jump, but it’s a difficult task. The game becomes about Puck’s team trying to bait out Solar Guardian on a less important target, while Dawnbreaker’s team looks for any opening to collapse on one of the most slippery heroes on the map.
