Dawnbreaker vs Wraith King

How this matchup plays

Both heroes want to control the map's tempo, but in ways that can cancel each other out. Wraith King builds pressure slowly, farming lanes and pushing towers with his skeletons. Dawnbreaker can instantly respond to that pressure anywhere on the map using Solar Guardian, turning a simple tower push into a full teamfight. In those fights, Dawnbreaker's initial burst damage is often not enough to kill Wraith King through his Reincarnation, while his single-target stun and sustained damage can be a real problem for her once she's committed. This creates a stalemate where neither hero can easily impose their preferred game plan.

The matchup often becomes a farming contest, with each hero trying to hit their key item timings first. Dawnbreaker's side will look for opportunities to burst down Wraith King before he gets too durable, forcing out Reincarnation early and then re-engaging. Meanwhile, the Wraith King player will try to bait Dawnbreaker's global presence to one side of the map before pushing an objective on the other. It really comes down to which team can better control the fight locations and dictate the pace. A successful early gank or a stolen Roshan can easily tip the scales one way or the other.
