Dawnbreaker vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Picking Tiny early is asking for trouble from a Dawnbreaker. Her entire kit seems designed to foil his plans. Tiny relies on his Avalanche and Toss combo to burst down a single target, but Dawnbreaker is inherently too durable to be deleted this way. She can usually withstand the initial burst and then turn the fight around with Starbreaker, which powers through his stuns. Even if Tiny tries to reposition, Celestial Hammer provides a slow and mobility that makes it hard for him to dictate the engagement or run away.

This fundamental problem for Tiny extends across the whole game. His main job is often to roam and secure pickoffs, but Dawnbreaker’s Solar Guardian completely neutralizes this strategy. Any gank attempt can be instantly turned into a losing fight for his team when she flies in. This forces the Tiny to play an uncomfortably passive game, unable to create the tempo he needs. As a result, Dawnbreaker gets to scale and apply pressure on her own terms, while Tiny is left without a clear path to impact the map.
