Dawnbreaker vs Treant Protector

How this matchup plays

Fighting into Treant Protector's team often feels safe until a global Solar Guardian suddenly turns the engagement. Dawnbreaker's entire kit is built to create and win messy, prolonged brawls, which directly counters what Treant wants to do. His Living Armor is excellent at mitigating single instances of burst, but it struggles against the constant, wide-sweeping physical damage from Starbreaker. Dawnbreaker doesn't need to focus one person; she can dive in and damage the whole team at once, making it impossible for Treant to protect everyone.

This forces Treant Protector to play on the back foot for most of the game. Any gank his team attempts can be instantly reversed by Dawnbreaker's arrival, neutralizing his ability to control the map. Treant's main recourse is to land a perfect Overgrowth, but even when rooted, Dawnbreaker can still cast her abilities. She wants to start fights and stay in them, while Treant is left trying to disengage or protect fragile cores who can't survive her sustained assault. He simply lacks the tools to keep her off his teammates.
