Dazzle vs Disruptor

How this matchup plays

Saving an ally caught in Static Storm is often straightforward for Dazzle. A well-timed Shallow Grave completely negates the kill potential from Disruptor's ultimate, allowing the target to survive the duration and simply walk out of the field. This forces the Disruptor to either find Dazzle himself or accept that his biggest spell might not secure a kill. However, a good Disruptor player knows this and will often prioritize using Glimpse to pull Dazzle out of position before committing his ultimate. If Dazzle is the one caught, he can't save anyone, and his team becomes very vulnerable.

The lane is manageable for both heroes, but the mid-game revolves around this key interaction. Dazzle wants to stay back, keeping his cores in range for a potential save. Disruptor's team will play around vision, trying to initiate on Dazzle first to remove the threat of Shallow Grave before a fight begins. The entire flow of a teamfight can change based on who acts first. A successful save from Dazzle can leave Disruptor with his longest cooldown spent for no impact, while a successful Glimpse on Dazzle can win the fight for Disruptor's team.
