Dazzle vs Nature's Prophet

How this matchup plays

Picking Nature's Prophet into a game where Dazzle is a possibility is a real gamble. Dazzle's entire kit seems designed to frustrate what Prophet wants to accomplish. Poison Touch is a low-cooldown way to clear out entire waves of Treants, stopping pushes before they can do any real damage to towers. If Nature's Prophet tries to teleport in for a gank, Shallow Grave completely nullifies his initial burst damage, often leaving him overextended and vulnerable. The constant slows from Poison Touch also make it difficult for Prophet to escape once he's been caught.

Throughout the game, this dynamic forces Nature's Prophet to play passively. He can't effectively pressure lanes because Dazzle clears his summons so efficiently. He can't reliably pick off heroes because Shallow Grave is a direct counter to his burst. Dazzle's team can group up and force objectives, knowing their support can single-handedly defend against the split-push. Prophet is left trying to rat from the shadows, but Dazzle’s presence makes it feel like he’s bringing a knife to a gunfight, and the rest of his team often pays the price for his lack of impact.
